Company VPN slow

When connecting through my company's VPN, speeds drop to very very slow.

What I have tried:

1. With the VPN off, the internet connection runs at the expected speed.

2. Connected to my mobile hotspot, the connection with the VPN on works just fine.

3. Changing the VPN location. This makes no difference.

It would seem that this issue is on thr Vodafone DSL side and not the VPN.
