Hallo, Vodafone-Team,

bitte entschuldigt mein schlechtes Deutsch. Ich bin kein Muttersprachler und nutze einen Online-Übersetzer.

Ich nutze eine Vodafone Station mit meinem Kabelanschluss in Nordrhein-Westfalen. Seit Kurzem habe ich kein IPv4 mehr, was zu Problemen mit meiner VPN-Verbindung für die Arbeit im Homeoffice führt und mich daran hindert, auf meine Dienste zu Hause zuzugreifen.

Bitte aktivieren Sie das kostenlose, echte Dual-Stack (öffentliche IPv4-Adresse) in meinem Konto.

Ich möchte meine Vodafone Station dann im Bridge-Modus nutzen. Auf dem Gerät gibt es keine entsprechende Option, und bei der Google-Suche habe ich erfahren, dass ich dies beantragen muss. Ich habe mich per E-Mail an den Support gewandt, aber auf beide Anfragen keine Antwort erhalten. Können Sie mir weiterhelfen?

I’m using a Vodafone Station with my cable connection in North Rhine-Westphalia. Recently I've lost Ipv4 , which is causing problems with my work-from-home VPN connection and preventing me from accessing my home services.

Please enable the free, true dual-stack (public IPv4 address) on my account.

I would then like to use my Vodafone Station in bridge mode. There is no option on the device and googling tells me I need to request it. I have mailed support and received no answer to either request. Can you advise?

And you contractually agreed upon receiving services just on the basis of DualStack-Lite -- this also imposes no problems with VPN connections as long as the VPN servers are properly configured (either using DualStack -or- at least configured with a proper MTU setting and ignoring client IP changes).

And keep in mind that there are no more free IPv4 address blocks available worldwide since 2011(!) - thus techniques for address sharing like DualStack-Lite or other CGNAT methods are used by many providers (also by mobile network providers). Therefor IPv6 was implemented back in 1998(!) - it's now 28 years old and there's still people thinking they can ignore it...
