English - Router return before requested after contract termination

Dear all,

I have requested to terminate my internet (by cable) contract since I am leaving Germany next week. My contract will be terminated on 07-10-2022, considering the 30 days notice. Everything is fine here.

The Vodafone letter indicated that the request for the return of the devices (the router) might come 2 weeks after the end of the contract. Sadly, I won't be in Germany anymore to do this. Is it possible to return the router to a nearby Vodafone store or send it by post?

I am in NRW, by the way.

Hello Mauricio93,

sorry, but immediate answers are not possible here.

Please do not return the router to a Vodafone store. Send it back by mail. You don't have to wait for the end of the contract, you can send it now. The 14 days after the end of the contract is the rule. Most customers use the connection until it is switched off and then need time to return it.
