VF-Station Firmware und w-lan

Hallo,

Wir haben, wie viele andere scheinbar auch, mit den firmwarebedingten W-Lanabbrüchen zu kämpfen. Tipp von der Hotline war ein Werksreset die sich die Box das Update holt. Gebracht hat es leider nichts.

Da ich in einem anderen thread gelesen habe das ihr hier wohl die Möglichkeit habt das Update manuell aufzuspielen hoffe ich daher auf eure Hilfe.

Hallo FluffyKitty,

Mit der Firmware 01.02.068.13 hast Du schon die neuste Firmware installiert. Diese hat der Kabelrouter am 17.06.2021 aufgespielt bekommen. Sofern noch nicht geschehen, vergib dem 2,4 GHz und dem 5 Ghz Netzwerk bitte eigene Namen und Passwörter.

Leider besteht das Problem weiterhin, also wohl doch die Station selbst das Problem 😕

Hab ich ehrlich gesagt nicht erwartet da die erst vor kurzem als Austausch für die Kabelbox kam.

das geht nur wenn von dir die Homebox Option gebucht wird.

Hallo FluffyKitty,

den Austausch in die Fritzbox kannst Du im Kundenportal zu den dortigen Konditionen selbst beauftragen. Es kann hier aufgrund von Lieferengpässen zu Verzögerungen kommen. Eine andere Möglichkeit ist die Verwendung eines eigenen Endgerätes. Hast Du bereits die anderen Hinweise zur WLAN-Optimierung getestet?

Ja, soweit es Sinn machte.

Derzeit hoffe ich auf eure W-Lan Spezialisten die hoffentlich mit den 5 reasoncodes im Ticket die die Station im Protokoll vermerkt was anfangen können.

Hallo,

Gibt es vielleicht mittlerweile einen neuen Lösungsansatz für das noch immer und wie man sieht seit Wochen/Monaten bestehende Problem? Schließlich bin ich nicht alleine damit wie man an den Massen an Threads mit dem identischen Problem und Ereignisprotokoll sehen kann.

Mittlerweile hab ich, nachdem es auf YouTube als die ultimative und einzige Lösung bei gleichbleibender Hardware (und hier rede ich leider nicht nur von dem "technischen Wunderwerk" in meinem Wohnzimmer, ist ja schließlich nicht die erste Vodafone Station die ihre Arbeit mit der Zuverlässigkeit eines defekten Besens tut...) das 5ghz komplett deaktiviert. Seither kaum Besserung, aber gefühlt lief es zumindest etwas stabiler.

Die Frage steht nun im Raum ob sich das Problem mit vernünftiger, voll funktionsfähiger Hardware und Firmware-kombi aka Fritzbox lösen würde. Aber das werde ich wohl er nicht erfahren. Nur auf gut Glück ist das nämlich bei euch ein teurer Spaß... Vom Gefühl dezent verschaukelt zu werden wenn ich dafür bezahlen würde das Problem mit der augenscheinlich dilettantischen VodafoneStation zu beseitigen.

Ihr wisst das Ding verursacht bei vielen Kunden Probleme... So kommuniziert wird es nicht, der Rotz wird weiter an Kunden verschickt... Und eine Lösung gibt es auch nicht außer dem Gerätetausch gegen eine weitere VodafoneStation bei gleichbleibend Sachverhalt... betrifft ja das WLAN, bei dem ihr nichts machen könnt. Nach der Aussage hab ich mir dann auch gedacht das ich mir die Anfragen sparen kann.... nur fehlt mir mittlerweile echt der Nerv das weiter hinzunehmen.

Die Lösung war das Problem hinzunehmen.

Das ging zumindest bis es vor ein paar Tagen von "während ein bestimmtes Handyspiel läuft" zu "immer mal wieder einfach so" über ging. Wenn ich nicht irre mit dem Firmwareupdate auf AR01.04.046.15_031622_7244.PC20.10.X1

Also ist jetzt wieder ein Ticket offen bei dem schon festgestellt wurde das die Leitung deren Störung ich nicht gemeldet habe funktioniert, das vermutlich zu einem erneuten Wechsel der Station führt mit der das Problem sehr wahrscheinlich weiterhin besteht.

Hab drum gebeten beim nächsten Tausch kein Montagsgerät zu bekommen, aber wie man im Forum ja sehen kann gibt es anscheinend mehr davon als fehlerfreie...
