    <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&lt;U&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;This helped&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/U&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;1. Press the reset button on the right side of the GigaTV box with a pointed object, like a paper clip.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;2. Press and hold it for about 20 seconds&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;3. Then switch off the unit using the round power switch on the rear panel&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;4. Press the mains switch again after a short wait to restart the box&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;For a couple of days now the box runs smoothly again. I consider it as a solution for the time being.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks a lot for the help.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <title>Vodafone TV Box not working</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Dear Vodafone Community,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I am sorry but my German is not so good, so I need to write this thread in English.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have a Vodafone giga TV contract, and unfortunately now, after almost one year, it seems that the vodafone tv box is not responding anymore.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;It started crashing already a couple of months back, but after a full restart it would be running smoothly again.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The problem now is after turning on and after the software looks for the updates the home screen loads for a couple a seconds and then becomes black again.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have tried restarting the machine, restarting and resetting the internet router, using a different HDMI gate on the tv, using a different HDMI cable in general, all with no avail.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Could someone help me out please?&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks a lot in advance.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

Connect the GigaTV 4K box to your router via LAN cable.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-style:italic;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-style:italic;"&gt;2. Turn off the GigaTV 4K box with the On/Off button on the back.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-style:italic;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-style:italic;"&gt;3. Keep the pair button pressed and switch the box on again with the On/Off button.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-style:italic;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-style:italic;"&gt;4. Wait until the control LED lights up. This may take 10-15 seconds.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-style:italic;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-style:italic;"&gt;5. As soon as the control LED lights up, release the pair button and press it again.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-style:italic;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-style:italic;"&gt;6. Now the GigaTV Box starts the software update.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-style:italic;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-style:italic;"&gt;When the software update is finished, the box disconnects the power once and restarts it afterwards.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt; If this does not help, please try this:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="font-style:italic;"&gt;1.
