I bought a callya classic which was activated yesterday.

I tried to add my Callya card to the meinvodafone account. (with the phone number and the password I cchose while registering the card). Now it says I entered incorrect info and the service is blocked for 24 hrs.

I want to change the tariff from classic to black.

You can also use the MeinVodafone app to change your tariff into CallYa Black.

But the problem is I am unable to add the sim card to the meinvodafone contracts

Yeah same thing I know I got the correct password because they allowed only capital letters and numbers.

@sameer1: No, not yet. I'm still waiting for the 24h to time out. It's like 30 min left. Then I'll try my password one more time. If it doesn't work I'll hope someone from Vodafone is gonna reply to our posts here. I'll let you know in half an hour or so. 😉

Same problem. Since no one from Vodafone has replied here or in my post yet, I'll think I'll try calling them.

@MacFonI did call them. Instead of the customer password we ended up talking about my main problem which was the tariff change and internet connection. Both were solved.

I guess calling them would be the best option for you as well.

Not much help there. Besides, I don't wanna change anything about my tariff (yet). I wanna have and use the proper password. Even if I wanted to change something about that right now, I still wouldn't have my password (for next time).

But I called them anyway. I ended up being blocked again for another 24h because they forced me to do something I told them didn't work the first time. Then they mentioned problems with adding contracts, numbers etc. via the web site. So I should try the Vodafone app which resulted in the exact same thing. Then they told me to go to a Vodafone store which I already did yesterday and where they told me they couldn't help me with passwords and such. So in the end they told me to fill out the password reset form, send it to them and wait for a week. Great job! 😞

@MacFon Thats good to know because I rjust realised I may need it to add my new internet contract to the account.

If it works post it to the forum, in case anyone else runs into the same problem.

Got the callback from VF customer service regarding the password reset form. They set the exact same password I had entered myself on registering the CallYa number (as mentioned before: copy&paste from my password safe). After waiting out the 24h, now the MeinVF app(!) accepted the password upon adding the number to my MeinVF account.
