Hi,

I currently have a Vodafone DSL contract.

However, I am signing a new sublease for my last year in Germany. It already includes internet in the contract.

I do not want to pay internet twice each month, so I'm wondering if it is possible to cancel my contract. Maybe by paying a penalty?

Elsewhere I could only find information on terminating the contract when leaving Germany. Can you tell me my options to terminate the contract when I stay in Germany?

If you should move into a new appartment you should use the "Umzug melden" feature. Vodafone will then subsequently check if they can provide their service at the new address as well. If the cannot provide their service (as the line is already used by the existing contract), then you should have the possibility to prematurely terminate the existing contract.
