Is there something like a Vodafone upgrade program

Hello community,

I am a new member in this forum and I don't really speak German so forgive me for typing this in English and possibly posting it on a wrong topic.

I currently have a vodafone kabel 400 connection and I am interested in getting a GigaCombi deal with a Red M and a pixel 2 xl.

My question is: is it somehow possible to upgrade the phone before the contract ends by paying the difference ?

For example if on December or early 2019 I would like to buy a Pixel 3 xl would it be possible to send my device back and pay the difference from the newer version of the phone and get it as an upgrade ? Obviously the value of my phone would be evaluated lower and I would have to pay a considerable amount for the upgrade but would this even be possible ?

Hi CuriousCustomer,

welcome to the Vodafone Community.

If you get a new mobile from us the contract starts running for 24 month. Within the running time we don´t upgrade the hardware just because a current model comes out.

That´s what you wanted to know?

And thanks for the quick reply basically that's what I wanted to know. I was wondering if Vodafone has some kind of Apple like upgrade program that allows annually to have the latest device. Obviously that's not currently available 🙂
