      <title>Cable Internet connection drops and my ping is high (English)</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hello,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I can't speak German so it is impossible to pass Machine to speak with an agent on phone.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Since I am working from home, I am connecting to a Remote Desktop to work. But even though my internet speed is high, I need low Ping too. My ping varies a lot and around 50-100 ms, even goes above 100. This means I have lag working with remote PC, which is hard to work. And my connection drops several times in a day. I have to restart my Router every time. How can we solve these problems?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have standard Vodafone Router&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Cable Internet with 200Mbs speed&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks in advance.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

Do you use an ethernet connection? Do I get you right that the ping is only high if you use a VPN? What do you mean with the connection drops, is that also the remote desktop or the whole internet connection? I live in Berlin, if you need my address and other contact details, I can write directly to you.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;My ping is high without VPN connection too. And our IT from our company suggested I should get in thouch with Vodafone Support. I have tried with ethernet cable too. The problem was similar.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;About connection drops, all of our devices get disconnects from modem. All the led lights on modem turns off except power light. When I restart the modem after a few minutes it reconnects.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

But when there are 4-5 we experience connection drops very frequently. (At the time you checked for the connection problems there is only me in my apartment, now we are two people.) I think you can see those in the last two weeks.
