Cancelling contract as moving abroad(India) Permanently from Germany.

Hello,

I have Germany Vodafone contract. Due to Health issue, I have to relocate to India Permanently by 25th June 2019.

I found many thread about cancellation vodafone contract but still few points are not clear to me. I tried to call customer care, but as I am not German speaker so didnt get any help from there. 😞

1. What is process to close vodafone contract ?

2. On which address should I send my DSL Device ?

3. Which documents I need to submit to Vodafone as proof of leaving ? And on which address ?

Any help would be really appreciated.

Couple of doubts still I have,

1. I had sent all required documents (physical copy) to Vodafone service center. Have you received thoes documents ?

2. I am closing my bank account soon. Is there any pending amount I have to pay? If Yes, where should I transfer that amount ?

@Stephan As you mentioned,I have sent device with specified address.

I am leaving today to India, so my home address will be no longer exist.

The DHL tracking number is : 00340434220444040855

I hope this will help to collect DSL device.

currently I do not see any documents of you yet. When did you send them?

We don't have any information about your parcel number yet, but this will happen automatically in the next few days.

As far as bills are concerned, it would be best if the bank account were to last at least as long as the contract is still active.

In this way, all amounts still due can be debited without any difficulties.

I have sent documents and via post on 17 June 2019. Now it is almost 2 weeks, I hope you should receive documents by now. Can you please check ? also can you please confirm about DSL device ?

Now I am back to India. Unnecessary I am paying monthly rent for internet connection even I am not using it.

If you do not receive documents, then let me know how can I share documents with you ? Is there any mail account where I can share scan copy ?

Hi abhinandan,

as far as our router is concerned: it has arrived with us in the meantime. So everything's fine.

I can't find any letters from you dated June 17th. But it doesn't matter any more, we don't need the documents either. The cancellation of the contract has already been processed and confirmed. Nothing will change at the termination date.
