&lt;LI&gt;For a premature cancellation of a &lt;STRONG&gt;fixed line connection&lt;/STRONG&gt; to be approved you need to provide Vodafone with proof of your leaving the country (i.e. Abmeldebescheinigung).&amp;nbsp; And yes, this should be sent either by contact form or with an "oldschool" letter.&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;There is no legal basis for prematurely terminating a &lt;STRONG&gt;mobile connection&lt;/STRONG&gt; when moving abroad, as you can still use the (roaming) service as contractually agreed on.&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;/UL&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;For more details, also regarding the follow-up payments for the fixed network connection in the three months after approved cancellation, please refer to the posts you already found.&amp;nbsp; All the answers are in there.&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT&gt;&lt;FONT&gt;Hello, I'm leaving Germany and I've seen many posts on this topic&amp;nbsp; &lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&lt;FONT&gt;&lt;FONT&gt;.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&lt;FONT&gt;&lt;FONT&gt;I have already submitted the opt-out for both my DSL and mobile contracts through the contact form online, but I do not have any confirmation or proof of this. &lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;FONT&gt;I went to the store yesterday and what I told. &lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;FONT&gt;This seems silly to have a paper letter to an internet company. &lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;FONT&gt;Can I just cancel online?&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
