Hello,

I'll leave Germany on 30/11/2018. 3 months ago I sent a letter to Vodafone informing that November would be my last month here and that I should cancel the contract.

But I received a message saying that my contract will only be terminated in February of 2019.

This cannot happen.

How can I cancel my contract (Internet and Cellphone) on November 30?

Should I send my abmeldung to you? How?

Hi @Nathiil, that is correct due to German law. You have to pay for 3 months after leaving Germany.

Hello @Ramirez, thank you for your answer.

This also applies if I'm moving to a country that has no Vodafone coverage? Because I really cannot use Vodafone in the country I'm going to. And also, I send the termination letter in August, so the 3 months should be done in November, not in February.

Hi Nathiil,

if you move to another country your fixed net contract can be cancelled after 3 months. This is regardless if there is coverage at your new address.
