Cancel contract

Hello experts,

I am an english speaking person and registered for Vodafone DSL broadband connection in May 2018. Unfortunately my company has transferred me to the UK and I need to leave by December. I am unable to cancel my internet contract.

Can you please help ?

Hi Thomas,

It is Red Internet and Phone 100 DSL. I tried using the form today to cancel but it is not working for me as at the submission page, it always says " Please check your input" for which product does your question relate to option. I have tried selecting many options but it does not work.

Can you please help me to cancel my contract ?

Thomas has send me your details because you are using a DSL and not a cable connection.

As I see my colleagues already confirmed the cancellation via e-mail.

So there is no further to do for us here.

Hello Jens,

I did receive email that the contract is cancelled. However I have not rece8ved any automated cancellation email from Vodafone. Would i be getting some sort of hard copy ?

Also it was mentioned I still need to pay base amount until the contract expires. I believe I still have 1.5 years left for contract, this is too much of money to pay for something I am not going to use after December. It was not in my hand for the transfer to another country. I can provide de-registration document from Rathaus to prove the same.

Please help to let me know what are my possibilities as it is too much of money without using the service.

Hi jack8139,

the e-mail sais that you have to pay the base price until the contract ends. This is at the beginning of December.

Please note that you receive at least on more invoice after the end of the contract depending on your bill cycle.

Thanks Jens. So this means my contract ends in December 2018 and I will need to pay the final invoice until December 2018. I misunderstood that I need to pay the base price until original contract expires date which is in May 2020.
