Can I have a monthly cancelable contract after I finish my 2 years contract

Dear Respected Madaam and Sir,

I have a 2 years contract with Vodafone DSL. Now it will get over this month. I have already canceled the contract. Now i want to know if I can have a monthly cancelable contract as I may move out after 6-8 months and do not want 1 year or 2 years contract.

Sorry forwritting in English I do not have enough German skills.

The normal duration of a contract is 2 years. The are no other contract available.

If you renew your actual contract, the duration will be 1 year. If you change to another contract the new contract will also be for 2 years.

As you have already cancelled your contract, you will be no Vodafone customer when the contract ends (sound obvious, does it?).

You can only hope that Vodafone calls you, because they think that you are a valued customer, and they want you to stay with them.

Another option would be that you call them on the special number (Topic: "Wir möchten, dass Du bleibst" - we would like you to stay), and ask them for a contract with a shorter duration.

In my opinion chances are limited, as you have already cancelled your contract.

But you could try nevertheless.

unfortunately, there are no shorter-term contracts. I'm sorry.

After the first two years, the contract is always extended by 12 months, if you do not cancel before.
