Hello, I am leaving Germany and would like to cancel my kabel deutschland contract.

I have a copy of my Abmeldung to provide to you should you require it.

Please could you advise how I can proceed?

Please send me the following data by private message :

- Customer number

- Name of the

- Address (new and old)

- date of birth

- A picture of the deregistration.

Hi Debbilou,

I filed the deregistration. It is already the cancellation to 10.11.2019 recorded. This date is still valid. According to the Telecommunications Act, the notice period for moving to non-served regions is 3 months. Therefore, I cannot terminate the contract earlier.

Thank you for confirming the cancellation date.

Since I cannot provide my Abmeldung until 7 days before I am leaving Germany, I wasnt able to give you 3 months notice,

Is it possible to make an exception to cancel my contract sooner since my bank account and all other contracts will be closed down in Germany.

The notice period begins on the day of the move. There is nothing we can do about that.

Hi Debbielou,

I will send you a copy of the cancellation confirmation from 14.08.19 by mail. There the cancellation to 10.11.2019 is confirmed.

I want to terminate my DSL connection as I moved from the current location. Since I am staying in a service apartment, where internet is already available, I want to terminate the existing connection. Due to COVID-19, I couldn't complete the de-registration.
