Can’t get connect with Vodafone Hotspot

Dear Sir or Madam,

Since last Saturday, I could not connect with Vodafone Hotspot near my living place. Both my computer and my cellphone. I can give you some of the information.

These hotspots are located in Nürnberger Str. 105, Erlangen, there are 3 spots in this Place.

I guess it's because the owner of the modems turned them off. So I can not get connected with the closed modems.

these are private homespots. If the owner takes them off the grid, our hands are unfortunately tied. Then there's nothing we can do.

I could sometimes get connected with my laptop. But it's not stable and rather slow. So I have a question. Do the owner of the hotspots have the right to limit my speed? Or I just get banned? I spent a rather rough Christmas without wifi.

Hello HuiYu,

the hotspots are generally freely accessible. But if the owner of the router turns it off, that is his right. Since the hotspots only output a certain speed, this speed must be shared with other users of the hotspot.
