FAST SAGECOM 5460 switching off/failing

Hi,

I have a problem with my FAST SAGECOM 5460. After restarting, i can use the internet for about 5 minutes before the device shuts off (no lights on at all). What is the quickest way to get a replacement?

after 5 minutes the box switches off completely and all LEDs go out? Have you tried a factory reset?

Hi Fred,

All LEDs go off. I can reset the power switch and it comes back for a few minutes, I can connect via wifi etc, but it keeps powering off, and I can no longer connect.

I can try a factory reset when I get home this abend if you think it might help

Unfortunately it has now happened again, even after multiple resets.

you may try and replace the coaxial cable to see if that helps. Which federal state do you live in?

I'm in Berlin. I've already re-connected all the cables, and it was working fine until a few days ago so I don't think thats the problem.

with the neighbors in the house the modems have no breaks. Can we send you a technician to check your connection? The colleague needs access to the house distribution system.

Sure, but I'm not sure why the connection would cause the all the LED including power light to turn off

if the technicians find out that the router is defective, the colleagues will replace it on site.

Furthermore, they can check the line and correct any errors immediately.
