CBN CH7466CE Issues

Hello,

I recently recieved the CBN CH7466CE to replace the FAST 5460, and I must say I miss the FAST 5460. The CBN modem is awful, the WLAN is absolute trash, it never stays connect and I have to restart the modem at leat once a week if not more often just to get it to function as it should. Is there any firmware upgrade or anything I can do to make it work properly?

which firmware does the CBN have currently? Do you have trouble with both the 2.4GHz WiFi and the 5 GHz WiFi? Did you rename them so they don't use the same SSID?

The firnware verson is 4.50.20.3. The networks are have 2 different names, so that's no the issue. There are issues with both but the 5GHz is much worse.

do you use a repeater or do you connect the devices directly to the W-LAN of the cable router?

Hi Martin,

I was using the WLAN from the modem with all of my devices, expect for one because it only works with the b band so I set up a secondary router inorder to use it. However I have switch almost all if not all of my devices to the other router now because I have less issues with that one.

I just ordered the router replacement.

You will receive the new device within the next 3-5 working days.

Just plug it in as usual and send us the old device back.
