CH7466CE and port forwarding won't work

Hi there, I have a CH7466CE (from Kabeldeutchland) and I configured a port forwarding to reach port 9090 on my computer using its mac address but it won't work no matter the IP I use, I tried using the IPv6 of the WAN and the IPv6 of my computer.

Does anyone have tips on how to solve it?

PS: Accessing my IPv6:8080 shows up the modem login : smileysurprised: which got me surprised, at least I changed the password.

PS2: I tested using my mobile that also supports ipv6

Hello Jayson,

Portforwarding is not possible with DS-Lite. The only thing that will help here is to put the device into bridge mode and to connect a separate router behind it.

I cannot find any bridge mode on it, how do I do it?

Hello Moni,

afaik IPv6 Firewall configarations /opening are possible with the Compal.

@Jayson are you sure your computer has a pulic IPv6 and not only a link local address?

@RobertP I was able to access the router outside of my internet using the ipv6:8080 but still the port mapping using the mac address didn't work.

your computer also need a public IPv6 to be reachable from outside.

have you enabled IPv6 on your pc and did you received a public IPv6 (not link local) from the router?

is the pc's IPv6 similar to the one you used successfully to access your router from outside or completly different?
