My new Wlan homebox not working

Hallo. I received my new wlan Kabel-router on Friday and I spent the whole day yesterday trying to get it to work. I connected the multimedia dosenadapter and data cable as shown in the setup manual, press the WPS button and after the WPS led blinks for a short time, it goes off. I have restarted multiple times.

I have to give my thesis defense on Tuesday and with this coronavirus, it will be done vie videoconferencing. It is VERY IMPORTANT that i have internet connection because the libraries are all closed because of coronavirus.

The leds on the box are:

Internet: red light and blinking

wps: off (or very faint blinking red light)

wlan: steady white

power: steady white.

There are 2 outlets in my apartment and I tried both of them.

I think the connection had not been enabled yet even though my contract started on 25.03.2020.

Please can someone help me?

i have called the number several times but the machine says „leider nicht...“ every time and i don’t get connected

is there another number I can call?

@RobertP I finally got through and the rep I spoke with says to wait for 24 hours and it will be resolved. I‘m keeping my fingers (and toes!) crossed.

You are right. I called again and the second rep raised an order for a tech visit.

Now to find where I can get internet access to have my presentation 😭

open Settings and turn Personal Hotspot on 😉
