Sagecom Fast 5460 false reporting network situation

Hello, I have a Sagecom Fast 5460

in past time all ok.

Now:

- it reports WiFi off even if is on and mobile phones and computer connected

- it reports nothing connected via WLAN even if there is PC, IPTV box, Satreceiver, Powerlines

- it is not possible configure port forwarding because I cannot read MAC of PC

Can anybody help?

Moni, I forgot to mention that I have already done power off / power on but situation did not change

did you try a factory reset? Or just a powerreset?

No, I only tried power reset.

Should I try wih factory reset?

If yes could you please give me the procedure?

please notice that I am writing you via Wifi and telephone is ok so practically what modem is reporting is totally wrong

Hey,

sorry for the late response. You could initiate the factoryreset by pressing the "reset" button for 30 seconds, you can find the button on the backside. And yeah, looks like its a failure when you can write via mobilehpone 😄

Hello, sorry for late reply.

I did it right now.

All old entries of devices are deleted: good

But new devices are recorded only with delay and not all devices.

Now for example I have a sat box I want to assign a fixed IP address but I cannot because is not displayed, be aware, the sat box is connected to modem and see Internet, infact I performed a sw update of it using network provided by modem.

Definitivly 6.2.1.2-IMS-KDG has a problem. How to proceed?

And now worst:

I connect via wifi to the modem and it is displaying zero device connected, by the way I am listening radio via IP with a device connected to lan and there are several wifi devices connected.

2.4GHz, 5GHz or both?

Hello medicol,

no such errors are known with the Sagemcom router. The FW 6.2.1.2 is the latest. I would like to check your modem, please send me your customer number, date of birth and the full address via private message. Answer here in this thread afterwards.

thank you for you data. Your access looks good so far, as you already made a factory reset, I would suggest that I replace your modem. Is that okay for you? The new device would be delivered by DHL, the current one must be returned within 14 days.
