Compal CH7466CE port forward Issue

Hello, I have a similar issue to this: https://forum.vodafone.de/t5/Internet-Geräte/Compal-CH7466CE-port-forward/m-p/1981208

I have Vodafone Kabel internet with the Compal CH7466CE router, and a home server that I would like to have remote ssh access to. I don't seem to have any ipv4 port forwarding. I've disabled "Homespot Service" in my internet settings, but I'd rather not wait 7 days for that to take effect. Can ye help me out?

hope you are aware that you need your own router after enabling bridge mode.

in bridge mode the Compal acts as a modem without any router functionality.

I was not aware of that, thanks for the heads up! Was planning that theserver in question would be connected by Ethernet to the compal, but I do have other WiFi devices in my place.

Assuming I have a router (eg https://www.amazon.de/TP-Link-AC1750-Dualband-WLAN-Router-Steuerung/dp/B00BUSDVBQ/ref=mp_s_a_1_2?keywords=tp%2Blink%2Bc7&qid=1568035350&s=gateway&sr=8-2&th=1&psc=1) then I should be able to hook that up to the Compal and be set? Or am I forgetting something else important?

@bucketfull yes it will work perfect with the TP-Link Archer C7
