Changing country - internet cancellation

Hello,

First of all sorry for posting in english.

It happened that I have to relocate due to my work, and so I'll be leaving Germany by the end of the month.

I'd like to cancel my internet contract as I'll no longer be able to use it.

I'm not sure how to proceed, I found some info telling me to call directly, others to complete forms, but I'm not sure what the actual procedure is.

Could anyone provide some guidelines as how to proceed ?

I found this tutorial already, but it seems to be only for Cable clients, and I only have internet, so when I click on the links provided, I only get an error message

However I might be doing something wrong.

I don't understand what you mean. For a closer look send me the following informations in a private message:

address

customer number

Yes I have a few questions :

- When will the cancellation be effective ?

- Should I send back the internet box, and when ?

- Until when will I be paying the subscription ? I think I read for 3 months after the move on another post ?

Hello Alexisg,

you should have already received the confirmation of cancellation by e-mail. The contract ends on 01.05.2021. You can also return the Internet box before then. You will find the address in the cancellation confirmation.
