Hello,

I apologize for my lack of German skills. I am a new customer of Vodafone Cablemax and I am trying to connect it to my Netgear R7800 router. What is the best way to connect the Vodafone to an external Wifi? Do i just disable the WLAN on my Cablemax? Do i need to disable the Firewall and enable the Ping to WAN?

Hello crisscross1,

if you want to use a second router that is connected to our cable router it would be best to enable the bridgemode. You can find this setting in the customer portal under "Interneteinstellungen". It turns the cable router into a modem, WiFi and the firewall are disabled automatically. Only the LAN1 port works then, so this is where you connect your Netgear router.
