How can this inconsistent results happen? (download/upload in Mbps)

I do have wifi recconections and terrible experiences while browsing. Every website I use is slow and it usually takes 2 seconds until a connection is established. Netflix is fine but it stops sometimes for caching content. HBO streams are horrible with caching interuptions every 10-15 minutes, regular news websites take 2-3 seconds until the first content arrives followed by SLOW ajax calls to populate the rest and is a general SLOW communication with any service.

On Vodafone speed test I never got more than 1Mpbs (average) for upload.

Voice services are slow, latency is big, delays are at least 1 second and interuptions are hapening all the time. On my mobile network everything flies and I can make video calls for work using google meet (900MB/30min) without any delay or interruption.

I do compare all this with my mobile 3G connection where I get impressive speeds for a mobile device especially for upload 20-25 Mbps.

are you testing the connection via WiFi? I would be interested to know if the full speed is available via LAN.
