Router keeps restarting

Hi there!

I've always used VPN for everything I do online. I signed up for Vodafone Cable 500mbps a couple weeks ago and whenever I try to stream a 4k video or even download something, my connection dies and the router restarts.

The router is an Arris TG3442DE.

I tried calling the hotline, but my German is very basic so I wasn't able to get passed the machine to an agent 😞

Can someone help me?

does your VPN supports IPv6?

Thanks for replying! I just checked and they do not support IPv6 yet 😞

Do you think disabling IPv6 in my router would fix this?

The router should not restart just because the VPN does not support IPv6. Does the router restart even if you don't use a VPN?
