Terminate my internet contract

From January 16th 2019 I'm leaving from Leipzig, Germany to Basel, Switzerland, and cannot use my Vodafone Internet service any longer. Therefore, I would like to terminate my Red Internet & Phone400 Cable contract. What shall I do for that? I can provide my registration letter in Basel and de-registration letter in Leipzig to prove my leave.

thanks for the pm.

You have already sent your notice of cancellation and de-registration by mail on 15.01.2019. I have now processed your cancellation.

The cancellation becomes effective according to the current legal regulations as of 15.04.2019. You will receive a written confirmation in addition.

Thank you very much! I have got the notification of cancellation, although the mail is not yet arrived.

May I ask one more question? As I understand, I should send back the router after my contract is cancelled, which will be only happened on 15.04.2019. Is it possible that I send back the router earlier than that, since I won't be able to use the Vodafone internet service from now anyway?
