Termination of Contract due to move overseas

Hello,

Today via customer portal I created a termination request as I am moving to another country. I recieved a confirmation email but when I check the termination date it’s 30.06.2019 whereas I move on April 1, 2019. How can I change the actualy termination date to my last day in Germany (31.03.2019)?

Hello @Yunus_Akaltan ,

since you are leaving the country you got a special right to cancel your contract. Your last day in Germany is January 31st and the period of notice is three month, so you have to pay til June 30th. That can't be changed and is part of the contract you signed.

Hello Yunus_Askaltan,

even if you leave Germany the contract won’t end with the date of your move. Due to German law the contract will end three months after the leaving date.
