I recently terminated my stay in Germany on August 1, 2018 and have moved back to the United States. What information must I provide to cancel my vodafone internet contract? Thank you for your help.

I sincerely do wonder how many more threads regarding this very topic need to be opened here on the board before people realize that the answers are all already there - multiple times even.

Anyway, in a nutshell:

Have you officially (as in "no, not by writing it in a U2U-board on the internet") informed Vodafone of your leaving the country in the past?
Did you provide Vodafone with proof of your leaving the country (de-registration, "Abmeldebescheinigung")?
If you haven't done so and hence haven't received a confirmation, this (first bullet point) should be your very next step to take.
Be advised that you have the obligation to pay the monthly fee for another three months starting from the date of cancellation (in accordance with German Tlecommunications Laws & Regulations).
Have you already returned all and any rental hardware to Vodafone? If not, this should also be done as soon as possible.

Thank you for your response. I asked the question because often an employee will contact the person making the post and assist them directly. Is there a specific place to send the letter? I do have my abmeldungbescheinigung but I haven't sent it to Vodafone yet. I have no hardware to return.
