Vodafone,

I need to terminate my current contract. I was sent the below email when I tried to submit the required documents to cancel the contract.

I will be moving very soon and need to get this taken care of before I leave the country.

Hello Jimmy3,

i have deposited the proof and adjusted my notice of termination. You told Tina that you moved out of the apartment on July 10th. Your marching order shows us the date of 15.08.2018. We have taken this now, because we cannot get any other proof from you that you left the country. The contract will therefore be terminated on 15.08.2018.

I can provide a flight literary and termination lease paperwork for my apartment . I left my apartment 10July and will be leaving the country soon after. Will these work to show i am leaving sooner?

Hello Jimmy3,

the marching order is the only reason to terminate the contract sooner. As a rule, the contract is terminated with a period of 3 months in the event of a move. There's nothing we can do about that.
