Canceling Contract quickly

I need help. I am leaving Germany on the 10th of July and the cancellation I submitted by registered mail in May was “not received “. In the difficulty of moving I have misplaced the receipt for the letter. I am resubmitting the paperwork by registered mail, but need to make certain things are handled quickly.

Do you have any suggestions for speeding up the process? Particularly, I need to return the cable modem and don’t have instructions.

Also, I need to make certain all payments are settled before the bank account is closed.

Any help would be appreciated.
