ENglish help please. DSL Problem

Hello,

I'm using internet from Vodafone few years now.

From half a year I was having troubles with max speed.

Afternoons I'm having 2-6mb/s ! I have DSL 50,

I get that it doesn't have to be max, but having 8% of what you are paying is really not normal.

I was calling you few times, it was never possible in english,

my german speaking friend helped and called, then they told her to restart router.

Indeed it helped... for 5 minutes and they didn't provide further help, because for them it was satisaying.

Shame to be threated like this. I'm paying for nothing. Please find the solution!

welcome to the Vodafone Community!

You said that you are using a DSL connection but you opened your thread in our cable board.

What kind of connection do you use? What is the name of your modem and tariff?

In order to get useful speedcheck results please use a LAN cable connected directly to your modem and do the speedtests while no downloads or sreams are running.

Sorry, my mistake. I'm having DSL internet.

If it's possible you can move my subject to proper place.

I get that the quality on LAN cable should be different.

But do you think it's normal to have 2mb/s on wifi??

Hi MagdalenaC,

WIFI can be affected by many factors.

The way your home is build and the WIFI signals from your neighbours can influence the WIFI quality.

It may help to change your WIFI channel in you modem or using a WIFI repeater or, if possible, powerline adapters.
