Mobile internet contract and completely leaving Germany

I got Mobilfunk-Vertrag contract little over year ago, there is still few months left for the contract period to end (2 years), but I had to leave Germany back to my country and completely deregistered from there.
Internet doesn't even want to work here, in Poland, even though in theory there was supposed to be roaming. I can't change address for my account to Polish because "residence needs to be in Germany".
Do I still have to pay 48.99 euro a month for unlimited internet I can't use or is it possible to cancel the contract?
