I am considering switching from CallYa to Vodafone.
Does anyone have experience with it?

I want to keep my number, but I've heard that some people have had issues with their numbers being blocked instead of ported.

I would also like to pay by PayPal or credit card. Although I can sign a SEPA direct debit mandate, the website says that one can pay with one of these methods in MyVodafone. Is this possible as I pay with call ya now? For example, pay an extra credit before the bill and not be charged the SEPA mandate?

(Please don't guess. Only answer if you know for sure.)

You can easily switch from Vodafone Callya to a Vodafone contract. To do this, you must proceed as described here. You keep the phone number. The switching takes place on the existing SIM card.

If you don't want to make the switch over the phone using the phone number provided in the link or in the shop and need further assistance in English, I would contact Vodafone via Facebook or Twitter.

You mean CallNow credit cards or codes? Yes, you can also redeem these with a contract. To do this, you have to call 22922 with your smartphone and then select 1 to redeem your contract. The redeemed credit will then appear on your monthly bill and will be offset against the running costs. If there is sufficient credit, your Sepa mandate will not be charged.
