Premature mobile contract termination - moving abroad

Hello,

I have a two year mobile contract with Vodafone (started on 16.10.2020). Unfortunately, due to serious work and family reasons, I must urgently leave Germany by 15th of May the latest.

Could you please inform me about the next steps regarding my premature contract termination?

Also, will there be a premature termination fee applied? What will that be?

Hey kostas88,

normally you can use your mobile contract also out of Germany.

Where will you move to?

And have you get a mobile phone by Vodafone?

Thank you for your reply!

I will be moving to the US, however, I do not wish to continue my Vodafone mobile contract there since I already have one from a different company.

I did not get a mobile phone by Vodafone, just the mobile contract.

Could you please inform me how I can prematurely terminate my contract? Where do I address my request for cancellation? What documents do I have to provide? And will there be a premature cancellation fee applied?
