My ex line needs to be free

Hello everybody!

Apologies, I post in English because I don't speak German. I tried to get in contact with customer service by filling the form and I've been told to create a post here.

Here's the situation.

I lived in Lipzig in the last 2 years and a half, but I moved back to Italy on 27th of July and asked Vodafone to terminate my contract on July, 31st. Vodafone confirmed my request has been accepted and my contract should be ended now.

The problem is that I got contacted by the new tenant of my old flat in Leipzig, who told me he's not allowed to use internet service because the line is occupied by me and I honestly have no idea what I can do.

Can anybody help me?

Could you please free the line so that the new tenant is able to use the service?

I am already in Italy, so no need to keep it occupied for me.

Please proceed as soon as possible: he needs to work from home and internet is vital for him to do that.

the best thing is to send me a private message with your former customer number and the customer password. Then I'll take a look at it and give you feedback.

thanks for your pm.

Since we now know that you had internet via cable with us, you can tell the new tenant that you don't block anything. Even if your contract was still active you wouldn't block any further cable customers in this flat.

And since you no longer live there, that is no longer your business.

If the new tenant has problems with any of our services, he or she can get in touch with us via this Community, Facebook or Twitter.
