I have a new Vodafone cable router, but the self-installation unfortunately didn't work. The router isn't getting an internet connection.

Furthermore, the multimedia adapter cannot be properly inserted into the cable socket on the wall, or it does not fit correctly.

Can someone tell me what I should do now? Do I need to call a technician?

Unfortunately, I don't speak German very well; English would be easier for me.
