      <description>&lt;P class=""&gt;I want to switch my internet from cable to DSL due to high latency cable issues. But all the support staff drop the phone when I start speaking English, so I decided to switch to another provider who can provide it in an easier way, but Vodafone responded with the switching date in 2027. So the question is: how to do it earlier? Maybe by sticking with Vodafone.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;You are stuck with the minimum contract term of 24 months. A technology switch within Vodafone is not that easy, VF does usually not sell DSL contracts when cable is available. For support in English use WhatsApp, from the bot there you repeatedly request a Kundenberater until you get forwarded to a human agent.       <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;What's the point of refusing a switch to DSL when it's objectively more stable than cable internet? I understand that with Glasfaser it wouldn't make sense, but this is a different case. Cable is notorious for its instability and packet loss compared to DSL and fiber. It should be in the provider's interest to offer the customer the best possible, stable connection to retain them. Refusing the switch prevents improving service quality for the customer and damages the provider's reputation. I also understand that DSL 250 Mbps max is less than Kabel's 1000 Mbps, but stability is more important for my needs.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Simple: Vodafone owns the cable infrastructure but in most cases not the DSL infrastructure, so Vodafone has to rent it from the owners, cutting into the profit margin.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;Packetloss - do you have a pingplotter of that?&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Using Wifi or LAN connection?&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Post the signal levels.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Find them under: Internet &amp;gt; Cable Information &amp;gt; Channels&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;There is a way to get a change in technology but there has to be an unsolvable problem with your connection.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;That requieres support tickets etc... the whole process.&lt;BR /&gt;And then its no guarantee VF will do it.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
