Hello, I have subscribed Red Internet & Phone 50 Cable since April 2020. The contract is binded for two years up to 28.04.2022 inclusive. I have filled in the Kündigungsformular on 16.02.2022. In the Formular I have mentioned that I would like the termination to be started on 29.04.2022. I am just confused if I still need to pay for the service fee up to 16.05.2022 (which is three-month notice from the date I notified Vodafone)?

Also one more issue. I have submitted the Kündigungsformular on 16.02.2022 but up to now I receive no further feedback on the termination from you side.

Could you please confirm the issues above? Thank you.

What state are you from? The notice period was shortened to one month by the change in the Telecommunications Act on December 1st, 2021, so your notice was still given in good time.
In which federal state do you live?

Thanks for your feedback. I'm in 81476 München. Thus the contract will be up till 28.04.2022 and starting from 29.04.2022 the internet will not be able to function?

Also, will I receive more information from Vodafone team including how to mail the device back and so on?

You must have a little patience. Processing will take place as quickly as possible. As far as I can tell, customer service at VFD/ex-KDG currently has a backlog of about two weeks. You should have received the cancellation confirmation by email by the end of next week at the latest.
This also includes the return of the rental device within 14 days after the end of the contract, including the return address. However, if you no longer have the return label from the beginning of the contract, the return must be made at your own expense. If you still have the return label from the start of the contract, you can send the package free of charge via DHL.

I have kept the full set of Vodafone kit which was sent to us during the start of the contract however I can't find the return label in it. I believe it's not included in the Kit when I received it. How I should do in this case?

The return label was included in the box with the cable router. If you don't have it or no longer have it, you have to pay the postage costs for the return yourself.

Thanks for your reply. I found a post in this Community that per the user's request, Vodafone has posted the return label back to him. Am I missing something?
Therefore at least it would be easier for me to handle the return of the device with the label which includes the address as well.

The free return labels are only available in the Vodafone West/ex-Unitymedia area, i.e. in North Rhine-Westphalia, Hesse and Baden-Württemberg. In the area of Vodafone Deutschland/ex-Kabel Deutschland in the rest of Germany there is not.
