Tariff Change After 6 Months

According to my contract, I have the option to change tariff after the 6th month.

"Red Internet & Phone 1000 Cable: Price 1st to 6th month only 19.99 euros, download up to 1000 Mbit / s and upload up to 50 Mbit / s. 12 weeks' notice at the end of the minimum contract period of 24 months. You can Change to the following Red Internet & Phone Cable tariffs free of charge by the end of the 6th month: 500 for € 44.99 / month, 250 for € 39.99 / month or 50 for € 29.99 / month . Your minimum contract term does not change. "

How do I do that? I did not get any notification to change it and I am already in my 7th month.

I would be happy to help you with the change of your tariff. If you are already in the 7th month, your contract period will be extended by 24 months. I will have a look at it.

In which tariff do you want to change? If you don't change your tariff you still pay 49,99 Euro for your tariff.

How much is the monthly fee for 500Mbps and 250Mbps? If I decide not to change tariff, will the past 7 months be counted as part of my 24-month contract?

Yes, if you decide not to change your tariff, it will run for another 18 months at the monthly price of € 49.99. But remember that you have a notice period of 3 months at the end of the term, otherwise the contract will be extended by another 12 months. It does NOT end automatically.

Sorry. I just have another question. If I change the tariff, the past 7 months will not be counted and the contract will be a new 24-month period?

If you are still in your seventh month when the tariff change takes effect, everything is good and the term does not change. If you are already in the contract period, the term will be extended to 24 months.

If my contract will not extend for another 24 months if I change tariff, then please change my tariff to 250Mbps. If it will have to be extended after changing tariff, then I would just like to stay with the current tariff.

Please confirm this.

Hello. Could anyone help me? I only have a limited period of time for this change. There wasn't even an email notification during the 6th month. I was told there would be a notification so that I could change the tariff. I am almost at the end of the 7th month and my tariff still has not been changed.

There is no seperate notification, the only notification is in the order confirmation. This is no life chat, it will last a few days until a mod can manage this for you. Unless you have not enough time use the social media support or the hotline (in german).

What do you mean by order confirmation? I saw other posts here that they received an email notification on the 6th month. I was also told before I got the contract that there would be a notification on the 6th month.

Also, I am still studying German and had a hard time talking to customer support that's why they told me to go to this forum for English support.
